In addition to sculpting famous athletes, Michael has created several non-specific sports compositions. These are available for purchase: in resin, limited edition of 250; in bronze, edition of 25. Safe at Home depicts an renowned call during the 1955 World Series, in which Jackie Robinson slides into home, greeted by Yogi Berra. A Day at the Park exemplifies a perfect batting swing and has won top awards in art shows. |

Michael was a finalist for a sculpture of Harold Connelly, a U.S. Olympic hammer thrower who also served as Executive Director of the Special Olympics. This maquette conveys the explosive power of a throw. |
The Olympians maquette was designed at the request of the Bejing Committee in 2008. A large version was not featured at the games, but the maquette has proved popular among art collectors. In resin, limited edition of 250; in bronze, edition of 25 - inquire or purchase. |
