In August, Beacon was installed at the Morris Museum (a Smithsonian Affiliate) in Morristown, NJ. The sculpture sits on the lovely grounds outside. This video shows much of the gratifying process of putting it up. The museum itself has an eclectic vibe with deep contemporary artwork to a collection of historic automata and mechanical instruments (like really unique “living dolls” and music boxes). Very welcoming staff, too. Something for everyone there, so do visit and check out Beacon at the Back Deck, through the spring of 2026. See morrismuseum.org for directions, hours, collections, events, etc.
