If you live near, work in, or plan to visit the Washington DC area, you won’t want to miss visiting “Faces of One,” an public exhibit of 10 of Michael’s sculptures installed along the Richmond Highway/Rt. 1 corridor in Alexandria, VA. The Southeast Fairfax Development Corporation initiated the project as part of its efforts to transform the Richmond Highway into more than a thoroughfare, with familiar spaces becoming engaging destinations that encourage exploration and interaction. People can see the sculptures as part of going about their lives, or can plan to visit all 10. The sculptures remain on view until the spring of 2026.
A reception to kick off the exhibit and showcase some of Michael’s smaller work was held at Nepenthe Gallery on Mar. 13, 2025, as captured in a Mt. Vernon On the Move article.
